Flocculating Agent

Description: -

High molecular high cationic polyelectrolyte base on acrylamide derivatives.

Range of Applications and method of action: -

Chemix GT 100 is used for wastewater treatment and purification as well as for thickening and dewatering of municipal and industrial waste & sewage sludge (centrifuges, screen, belt press, filter presses).

The mode of action of Chemix GT 100 product is base essentially on ion exchange between the electrical charge along the polymer chain present in aqueous solution and the surface charge on the suspended solids particles. The particle surfaces are destabilized thus bringing about coagulation and flocculation.

Application / Dosage :-

Chemix GT 100 is used in dilute solution 5 - 10 % for preparation of stock solution .

The required addition quantities fir a particular can only determined by carrying out laboratory tests .

When Chemix GT 100 is used as a sedimentation accelerator , or clarifying , or dewatering agents jar test must be carried.

Caution:

Severe skidding hazard in combination with water and moisture. Keep public away from the danger area completely remove / reload the dry product.

Completely remove and store moist/liquid product with sand or binders. Repeat this procedure as required. Remove minor residue carefully from the road by spraying with a strong water jet.

Safety Measures:

Prevent dust development in case of dry product Avoid contact with the eyesl Avoid extended contact with the skin ! Rinse off the product after handling / touching !

Storage :-

High molecular flocculating agents, such as Chemix GT 100 are all basically sensitive to the effect of moisture. For example in the form of condensation water, water spray, water hazard class 2 (self classification ).

Atmospheric moisture. Contact with water (drops) can cause localized lump formation. The product must therefore be stored in dry , closed containers and protected from moisture .

Storage stability when stored correctly: -

Granular material in original packing container : at least 12 months

0.5 % stock solution in tap water : at least 2 weeks .

0.1% ready – to - use solution in tap water : at least 3 days .

Preferred tap water : approx 25 ?dH.

PH value : approx 7

Conductivity : approx 600 us / cm.
